Spotlighting US: Meet Davaunte Dotstry and the Just reLOVEution We Have Been Waiting For

I believe in my heart 2022 will be a year of big transformation, voting for change by empowering narcissists who pay lip service to our pains while making gains from the status quo will no longer bamboozle US. This is the year we will say no more and start to believe in ourselves instead of outsourcing our power to outsiders who do not know our struggles nor care an iota about us.

This is precisely why I’m endorsing my fraternity brother Davaunte Dotstry for Grand Basileus of Omega Psi Phi, the same way I am running for Congress to ensure that workers, small businesses and the countless millions who are indentured by poverty have a seat at the table and finally have a voice in our government, Davaunte is aiming to lead Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc away from being the voice of the establishment and validating politicians who are leveraging human suffering to enrich themselves and instead returns to our roots of uplifting the community, speaking up for justice and ensuring equality of opportunity for all.

I highly encourage you to follow Davaunte by checking out his website and following him on Instagram where he is spreading messages of goodwill and unity to overcome injustice. I also challenge my fellow men of Omega as well as Deltas and every other brother and sister in the “Divine Nine” to get behind Devaunte and join my campaign as well so that we can shift the paradigm and turn the conversations towards equity instead of letting politicians turn us into wedge issues.

As I wrote about in my latest article and articulated in my campaign video below, we can either let anger disempower us or we can realize we were chosen to suffer in order to deliver this one vital message: justice, love and cooperation can deliver us from evil and redeem humanity. Forget fired up and ready to go, let’s stand up and get ready to act because we can move mountains the minute we realize our true power which is the love of God that resides in all of us.

Heads Up: I’ll be at Sankofa Bookstore and Cafe in DC at 3PM today right across Howard University, if you are in the DMV, come through and say hello and reinvest in our community in the process. too. Lastly, going forward, once a week, we will be highlighting a difference maker like Davaunte who is working hard to empower our community. You can submit a suggestion for someone we should recognize at [email protected].
